Continuity matters! Having a brand represented across your digital footprint enables your prospects to have a consistent brand experience. To accomplish this you will want to audit your site and social media accounts.

How?

You will want a way to record specifics that matter to each one of your channels, decide which channels you will decide to leverage to build your brand, and make the appropriate adjustments that are needed to build a consistent look and feel that your brand represents.

This is a pretty in depth spreadsheet. Feel free to use it in a way that helps meet your goals of branding consistency.

At a minimum, you will want to be sure you completed the following process.

Brand Audit Process

Review ALL of your social media accounts, websites, landing pages, etc.
Define which social media accounts you are going to ACTUALLY use and those that may not be worth investing time and energy into. If decide to not invest time and energy into a site that you already have an account for, you will still want to update it so it resembles the branding across all of your other sites etc.
Based off of your color schemes and logos, that all channels and website has a consistent profile pic and cover / banner pic.
Your profile bio's are also aligned and say the same thing with specific "Call-To-Actions". This is just one example highlighted in the image below. You want your profile to have a call-to-action where you can generate leads from and give a reason for your audience to connect with you. Make this call-to-action on all of your profiles.
Ideas for call-to-actions can be buyer or seller guide downloads, consultation forms, CMA request, property search sign up forms, etc.

Depending on the site, your profile / bio will be slightly different due to amount of information you can provide. With that in mind, keep the information relatively the same and work within the confines of the site bio / profile sections.

On your audit, make sure to also calendar when you may need make changes to your call-to-action offers so they stay up to date.

This process will help create the brand consistency you will need for your digital footprint.

You may be using all of these and there may be others that are not mentioned. Nevertheless, the ones you regularly use are the first to get updated.

With regards to posting on your social sites and branding, make sure to be consistent.

Just like a TV show, radio broadcast, etc., you want your audience to know when to expect the content you are delivering. This consistency will help improve your brand awareness and engagement.

Best practice is always to start by posting at least once a day, at the same time daily. If you find this to be too much, start building your "posting muscle" by starting out with maybe 3 days a week (same days and times) until you build the habit and add from there.

An easy acronym for what to post can go something like this

This will give you a way to plan your content, keeps it fresh, and won't be like many agents who just post "Just Sold" or "Just Listed" content which will not create brand engagement if that is ALL you post.

Your brand is far more comprehensive as defined in Module 1 and 2 and you need to speak to your audience with content that tells the story of your brand and why it matters to your audience.

To keep track of your content use a "Content Calendar" where you can add the type of content to post, hashtags / Keywords, and other important info that will be needed repetitively to help streamline the process of posting.
